Nurturing top class engineers with expertise to drive growth and development
“Why does SKS continue to produce top class engineers?”
Because SKS is a group of engineering professionals who have continued to seek the answers to questions and push forward, at times through trial and error, for over 50 years.
SKS is an engineering group of plant engineers and our mission is to provide valuable services and contribute to the stable supply of social infrastructure. Experience, expertise and trust are all essential to achieving this goal. In other words, we see the growth and development of each and every one of our employees as a top priority. The design work carried out by SKS is extremely unique. It takes years of experience to grow into a top class engineer. SKS is looking for people that can think and act independently, will seek the answer to questions, if only one a day, and who have the mental toughness to continue to push forward, even if through trial and error. SKS is looking for people with strong communication skills who can also efficiently absorb the required knowledge. And, we are looking for people who will continue to grow. We invite anyone with an interest in plant design and analysis and is also passionate and motivated to attend one of our company information sessions to explore whether you are a fit for SKS.

Ongoing maintenance and repair work is necessary to ensure that plants continue to operate safely. Of this work, maintaining the integrity of the piping systems and equipment support components that form the lifeblood of a plant is of vital importance. Further, added to this in the case of nuclear power plants is the periodic removal of energy from the reactor core and the control and management of radiation. SKS is one of the few plant engineering companies in Japan specializing in piping system design and a range of analytical services. Since our founding, we have contributed to the construction of a large number plants using technologies cultivated over a long history spanning over 50 years. Harnessing our unique expertise built up over many years, SKS will continue to support social infrastructure across Japan.

SKS can be described as a company built on honesty and integrity.
Due to the precise nature of the work where mistakes are unacceptable, the majority of employees are serious about their work. However, the atmosphere is not as intense as you may think. SKS has a good corporate culture where employees can voice their opinions regardless of their position or the department they work in.
There is also a corporate culture that ensures that the unique expertise and skills built up over many years are passed down to junior level employees.
We invite you to come and grow together with SKS and share a friendly rivalry with your colleagues while you go about your work with enthusiasm in an environment that encourages junior level employees to play an active role.
